Creating a Patch●●Changing the TVF EnvelopeTVA ENV A-TIME:Changes the Env Time 1 parameter of theTVA envelope.TVA ENV D-TIME:Changes the Env Time 2 and Env Time 3parameters of the TVA envelope.TVA ENV R-TIME:Changes the Env Time 4 parameter of theTVA envelope.Splitting Tones That Are PlayedTMTCTRL Sens 1–4 (Matrix Control Sens 1–4)Sets the amount of the Matrix Control’s effect that is applied. If youwish to modify the selected parameter in a positive (+) direction –i.e., a higher value, toward the right, or faster etc. – from its currentsetting, select a positive (+) value. If you wish to modify the selectedparameter in a negative (-) direction – i.e., a lower value, toward theleft, or slower etc. – from its current setting, select a negative (-)value. For either positive or negative settings, greater absolutevalues will allow greater amounts of change. Set this to “0” if youdon't want to apply the effect.Value: -63– +63●●If the Matrix Control is used to split tones, set the TMT VelControl parameter to “OFF,” and the TMT Control Switchparameter to “ON” (p. 66, p. 66).• If the Matrix Control is used to split tones, we recommendsetting the Matrix Control Sens to “+63.” Selecting a lower valuemay prevent switching of the tones. Furthermore, if you want toreverse the effect, set the value to “-63.”• If you want to use matrix control to switch smoothly betweentones, use the Velo Fade Lower and Velo Fade Upperparameters (p. 66). The higher the values set, the smoother theswitch is between the tones.Changing the Depth of FrequencyModulation for FXMFXM DEPTHControlling the amount of realtime stretch/shrinkTIMECTRL Tone 1–4 (Tone Control Switch 1–4)Matrix Control Tone selects the tone to which the effect is appliedwhen using the Matrix Control.ValueOFF:ON:REVS:The effect will not be applied. The effect will be applied. The effect will be applied in reverse.Setting Effects for a Patch (Effects/MFX/MFX Control/Chorus/Reverb)For details regarding effect settings, refer to the pages shownbelow.• “Making Effect Settings” (p. 206)• “Making Multi-Effects Settings (MFX1–3)” (p. 213)• “Making Chorus Settings (Chorus)” (p. 215)• “Making Reverb Settings (Reverb)” (p. 216)This will have no effect if Realtime Time Stretch (p. 63) is notselected. If matrix control sensitivity is set to “+” the stretch/shrink time will become shorter, and if set to “-” the time willbecome longer.●Changing Specific Multi-Effects ParametersMFX CTRL1–4:Change the parameter that was specified byMFX Control 1–4 Assign parameter. If you have not made the necessary settings for using the multieffect, the multi-effect will not be applied even if you attempt tocontrol it as a Matrix Control destination.●If you’re not using Matrix ControlOFF:Matrix Control will not be used.82
