Creating a PatchBooster 1&2, 3&4 (Booster Gain)When a Structure Type of TYPE 3 or TYPE 4 is selected, you canadjust the depth of the booster. The booster increases the inputsignal in order to distort the sound. This creates the distortion effectfrequently used with electric guitars. (Unlessone of the waveforms is a sine wave, evenly-spaced frequencycomponents will not usually be generated.)As the pitch difference between the two waveforms changes theharmonic structure, the result will be an unpitched metallicsound.
