Overview of the Fantom-XModifying a ValueTo modify the value, use the VALUE dial or the [INC]/[DEC]buttons.fig.04-021Using the padsIn some cases when the cursor is located at an input location, youcan press [ENTER] to see a list of parameter values. For some ofthese lists, the screen will show an icon like the following, whichmeans you can use the pads to input or specify the value.When inputting a numerical valuefig.04-021aIn each screen of the Fantom-X, you can use the cursor to movethe area displayed as highlighted, and modify its value.Each parameter has its own range of possible values, so youcannot set any value smaller than the minimum value or greaterthan the maximum value.VALUE DialRotating the VALUE dial clockwise increases the value,counterclockwise decreases the value. Holding down [SHIFT] as youmove the VALUE dial increases value increments so you can makelarge value changes faster.PAD 1–9: Input numerals 1–9PAD 10: Input the numeral 0BS: Cancels the numeral you inputDEL: Cancels the lowest place of the number you input. If you’veinput “15,” pressing DEL will change the value to “1.”When inputting directlyfig.04-021aWhen the cursor is located at a parameter value, press [ENTER]to display a window where you can set the value. Useto select a value, and then press [ENTER] to finalize the setting.[INC] and [DEC]Pressing [INC] increases the value, and [DEC] decreases it. Keep thebutton pressed for continuous adjustment. For faster value increases,keep [INC] pressed down and press [DEC]. For decreasing valuefaster, keep [DEC] pressed down and press [INC].If you press [INC] or [DEC] while holding down [SHIFT], the valueincrements will get bigger.Pressing a pad will directly input the corresponding value.
