Saving/Loading a song (Save/Load)Songs you record are initially held in Temporary Area. A song inTemporary Area will be lost when you turn off the power or whenyou load a different song. If you want to keep the song, you mustsave it to user memory or a memory card.Conversely in order to edit a song (p. 177), you must first load it intoTemporary Area.Saving a Song (Save)Data saved together with a songThe performances, patches, and system setup you are using at thattime are saved together with the sequencer data.The performances and patches saved along with the song are specialdata used to reproduce the song; they are separate from the userperformances and user patches.Basic Procedure1. Press [SAVE/LOAD].The Save/Load Menu screen will appear.fig.20-001_50* If you want to use these performances or patches in a different song, orwithout reference to a song, you’ll need to save them in the user area.* Mastering Effect settings are not included in the data saved with asong. In order to completely reproduce the way in which the songplayed back at the time it was saved, you will also need to check themastering settings.Parameters included in System Setup2. Press [F1 (Save S+S)]–[F3 (Save AllSmpl)] to select theformat in which you want to save the song.Save Song+Samples: The Temporary Song will be savedin MRC Pro song format. A filename extension of “.SVQ” willautomatically be added to the song.The song will include the data of thetemporary area.
