Editing SongsRange Min, Range MaxSpecifies the range of note numbers to be transposed. For example, ifyou want to transpose notes in the range of C3 through C4, set“Range Min” to “C3” and “Range Max” to “C4.” You can alsospecify the key range by pressing keys on the keyboard.BiasSpecifies the transpose amount in semitone steps. Set a “+” (positive)value to raise the pitch, or a “-” (negative) value to lower the pitch. Ifyou do not want to transpose, set this to “0.”Value: -127– +127If You Want to Lower the Bass Sound OneOctave...If your bass is played one octave higher than the staff notation,use the Transpose function to lower it one octave.To lower the bass sound one octave, set the Range parameter to“Lowest–Highest” for the bass part, and set the Bias parameterto “-12.”When You Want to Change PercussionSounds...You can also use the Transpose function to change percussionsounds.Suppose you want to change conga to tom. If the conga sound isassigned to the D4 key, and the tom sound is assigned to the C3key, set the Range parameter to “D4–D4” and the Biasparameter to “-14.”Ch / PartSpecifies the MIDI channel(s) of notes for which velocity will bemodified.To modify velocity for all notes, set this parameter to “ALL.” Whenmodifying the velocity for only the notes of a specific MIDI channel,select that MIDI channel using this parameter.Value: ALL, Ch1–Ch16Measure, For (Edit Range)Specifies the range of measures whose velocity will be changed. Ifyou set “For” to “ALL,” all measures will be specified.BiasUse this parameter to add a fixed bias amount to all velocities. If youwant to increase the velocity values by 10, set this to “+10.”Value: -99– +99MagnifySet this parameter if increases or decreases in velocity variations aredesired. For less velocity variation, use settings of “99%” or less. Formore velocity variation, set it to “101%” or greater.
