Using the Chord Memory Function (Chord Memory)About the Chord MemoryFunctionChord Memory is a function that allows you to play chords based onpre-programmed Chord Forms, just by pressing a single key on thekeyboard. The Fantom-X can store 64 preset chord forms and 64 userchord forms. If you wish, you can overwrite any of the 64 user(factory set) chord forms.The chord memory function operates on the arpeggio part inPerformance mode. If a rhythm set is selected for that part, you canalso use this to play rhythms.Performing with the ChordMemory FunctionTurning Chord Memory FunctionOn and Off1. Press [CHORD MEMORY] to turn it on.fig.11-001The button will light.* You cannot use the chord memory function with the pads.When you use the Chord Memory function with a tone forwhich the Mono/Poly Parameters (p. 77) is Mono, only onesound in the chord is played.
