The date of manufacture shall not be saveable by the application client using the LOGSELECT command (i.e., the log parameter DS bit shall be one). The date is expressed in numeric ASCII characters(30h – 39h) in the form YYYYWW, as shown in table 139. If the parameter is not yet set or is not settable, the default valueplaced in the parameter field shall be 6 ASCII blank characters (20h). The field shall not be checked for validity bythe device server. The specified cycle count over device lifetime parameter shall not be saveable by the application clientusing the LOG SELECT command (i.e., the log parameter DS bit shall be one).
