Figure 3.1 shows a cast in-situhood with a removable section. Hoods arefabricated in 3CR12 corrosion resistantsteel (stainless steel can be specified).4. 4. Corrosion ProtectionThe sleeve valve body is paintedwith a polyamide cured epoxywhich overlaps the stainless steelportions and bronze welding onthe body ribs to ensure properprotection.
