Judson started off the year strongwith a 2-0 record while knocking off nationally rankedTaylor University in the opening game but then losttheir next five games. Judson finished the season at12-17 and was 6-4 in the CCAC.Despite the 12-17 record, Judson did finish in thirdplace in the CCAC with a 6-4 record. They won theirfirst-round CCAC Tournament game over CalumetCollege, 99-44, but then fell to #2 seed Trinity International,57-41.ccac awardsThree Judson players were named to All-CCAC teamsas Alicia Rovertoni led the way. She was the onlyJudson player on the All-CCAC First-Team. Pickingup All-CCAC Honorable Mention were Kirstin Johnsand Kelly Friestad.ccac players of the weekFive different players were named CCAC Player ofthe Week six times in the 2007-08 season. AliciaRovertoni picked up the award twice in the weeksof January 22nd and February 19th. Kirstin Johns,Marissa Marshall, Devonaye Henderson, and KellyFriestad all were given the award, too.nccaa national player of theweekAlicia Rovertoni gained the NCCAA National Playerof the Week during the week of February 19th. Sheaveraged 20.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in two gamesplayed. She also recorded her 8th double-double ofthe season vs. TIU with 12 rebounds and a careerhigh24 points. In a key win over TIU, she had keyshots the entire game and at one point scored sevenstraight points for Judson.She helped spark a come-from-behind win over TIUas Judson was down 14 points in the second half. JUwent on a 21-6 run over eight minutes and she hadeight of the 21 points.
