For the North American market, 600 VAC cable is accepted for up to 500 VAC.1000 VAC cable is required above 500 VAC (below 600 VAC). For drives rated over100 amperes, the power cables must be rated for 75 °C (167 °F).ConduitWhere conduits must be coupled together, bridge the joint with a ground conductorbonded to the conduit on each side of the joint. Bond the conduits also to the driveenclosure. Use separate conduits for input power, motor, brake resistor, and controlwiring. When conduit is employed, type MC continuous corrugated aluminium armorcable or shielded cable is not required.
