The minimum percentage ranges from 50% to 67%of all hours attempted, depending on a <strong>student</strong>’s total numberof hours attempted. Contact the Financial Aid Office foradditional information .Completed courses are courses in which grades of ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, or ‘D’are given. Attempted courses include courses with grades of ‘A’,‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’, ‘F’, ‘W’ or ‘I’.3) Total hours attempted and the 150% Rule• BRCC degrees require completion of approximately 65hours to gradua te. All courses attempted are used incalculating GPA, However, some courses do not counttowards a degree and are not included in calculatingyour GPA (i.e., developmental education courses). Themaximum number of semester credit hours that a <strong>student</strong>can attempt (excluding developmental courses) and stillbe eligible to receive federal and state financial aid is 96credit hours (150% of 65).
