After being <strong>the</strong> common topic <strong>of</strong> convcrfationfor a few 'days, it was no more regarded j^andindeed we were in hopes it had met with <strong>the</strong> fate itdeferved, and was funk in everlailing oblivion.But whilil we were indulging ourfclves in this^pleafmg hope, out comes a parcel <strong>of</strong> Rem.arks on it.<strong>The</strong>fe Remarks appear evidently to be written byfome friend to this a<strong>ca</strong>demy, and publiihed v/ith noo<strong>the</strong>r view than to re<strong>ca</strong>l <strong>the</strong> firfl pamphlet to <strong>the</strong> memory<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> inhabitants, and to preferve it from hnkinginto that oblivion in which it ought for ever tohave been buried. <strong>The</strong> publi<strong>ca</strong>tion ot <strong>the</strong>fe Remarksgives us reafon to fufpect that this fcheme for an a-<strong>ca</strong>demy may be fecretiy encouraged by fome numerousparty among ourfelves.
