Table 9 also lists the maximum imagewidth and length dimensions for each of the finger positions. This table includesfinger position codes referenced by other Record Types in this standard. Thecode "0", for "Unknown Finger", shall be used to reference every finger positionfrom one through ten.Up to five additional finger positions may be referenced by entering the alternatefinger positions using the same format. If fewer than five finger positionreferences are to be used, the unused information items shall be filled with thebinary equivalent of "255”.
