The result of thisprocessing is to obtain an effective scanning resolution that conforms to a step inthe transmission migration path.The transmitting resolution shall be contained in fields specified by the format forthe variable-resolution record. However, before transmitting variable-resolutionrecords, the operational capabilities of the sending and receiving systems shouldbe addressed, and prior agreement should be made with the recipient agency ororganization before transmitting the image.6 Transaction descriptionThis standard defines the composition of a transaction that is transmitted to aremote site or agency. As specified in this standard, certain portions of thetransaction shall be in accordance with definitions provided by the receivingagency. It shall contain one or more records each corresponding to one of thedefined available types. The records are intended to convey specific types ofrelated information pertinent to the transaction itself or to the subject of thetransaction. All of the records belonging to a single transaction shall betransmitted together. The Record types are listed in Table 3.
