<strong>ANSI</strong>/<strong>NIST</strong>-<strong>ITL</strong> 1-<strong>2011</strong>Data Format for the Interchange of Biometric and Forensic Information• The sixth subfield (Receiving Party / RPY) contains four informationitems:o The ISO-3166-2 code of the receiving country or sub-country /CRC. This is the code of the country / sub-country thatreceives/received the data or request from the NOA describedabove. This may be different from the ORI/ SRC.o The name of the agency receiving the message / NRA. This isthe name of the agency that receives/received the data orrequest from the NOA described above. This may be differentfrom the ORI/ SRC.ooThe name of the person at the laboratory that receives the DNAdata comprise the third and fourth information items:Surname / SRR which is the family name or last nameGiven name / GVR which is the personal / first or first andmiddle name• The seventh subfield (Lab Type / LTY) contains a single characterdescribing the laboratory that processed the DNA. Allowable values are:o G = Governmento I = Industryo O = Other laboratory• The eighth subfield (Batch ID / BID) shall contain an identifier for thebatch to which a locus belongs. This may be referred to as the gel orplate identifier. A specimen may have loci from multiple batches.
