With an output in the250-500 VA power range, ViX uses field-orienteddigital control technology, to give enhanced dynamicperformance with improved efficiency. Housed withinan extremely compact case, ViX is suitable either fordirect panel mounting or for attachment to a standardDIN rail.The ViX drive is produced in two versions havingcontinuous current ratings of 2.5 A and 5 A at motorbus voltages up to 80 V. A peak current capabilityof three times the continuous rating provides anoutstanding acceleration performance. The deviceoffers the choice of either resolver or encoder feedback(user selectable). Like its servoequivalent, the ViX microstep drive uses field-orienteddigital control technology to give enhanced dynamicperformance with improved efficiency. Housed withinan extremely compact case, ViX is suitable either fordirect panel mounting or for attachment to a standardDIN rail using an optional adaptor. The ViX microstepdrive is produced in two versions having current ratingsof 2.8 A and 5.6 A RMS at motor bus voltages upto 80 VDC. User resolution is freely programmablebetween 400 and 51 200 steps/rev. Regardless of theprogrammed resolution, the motor always operates atmaximum resolution for optimum smoothness over theentire speed range.
