Further detail on the basis for thesefigures, is provided in specific area and site policies elsewhere in thisdocument** and in supporting planning frameworks.* summarised in Table 1 below** LBHF Core Strategy (October 2011)Regeneration Opportunity Areas2.2 The Council’s Core Strategy (Oct 2011) sets out in clear terms thedevelopment and wider regeneration potential that Hammersmith &Fulham has. Despite being one of the smallest boroughs in London itrepresents a considerable and attractive regeneration proposition. Thelarge majority of that capacity is located in the five regeneration areasidentified in the Core Strategy. With theGovernment’s commitment to build a High Speed 2 interchange stationat Park Royal City International, the potential housing capacity is likelyto be significantly greater than that set out above.2.4 In terms of the numbers of homes that will be developed, the CoreStrategy Policy H1 on Housing supply states that the council willwork with partner organisations and landowners to exceed theproposed London Plan target of 6<strong>15</strong> additional dwellings a year up to2021 and to continue to seek at least 6<strong>15</strong> additional dwellings a year in8Page 368
