3.4 Although the provision is slightly under-utilised, we are not paying anyvoids. In effect, we have bed ‘reservations’ for placements which weare yet to make. These reservations do not incur any cost.3.5 LBHF have only one other frail elderly block provision, a 20 bed blockin St Vincents Care Home which is currently fully-occupied. It wasalways the Council’s intention to have a home in the north of theBorough and one in the south. Acton Care Centre was chosen as thehome in the north of the Borough which would complement the othertwo block homes.4.
