The authority which ordered a wanted circular or notice to be issued is required towithdraw it immediately after the wanted person or object is found, or when the statutorylimit for prosecution or execution of penalties lapses, or other reasons appear owing towhich a wanted circular or notice are no longer necessary.Article 569(1) The wanted circular or notice shall be issued by the internal affairs authority locatedwithin the territorial jurisdiction of the court before which the criminal proceedings arebeing conducted, or the institution from which a person serving a prison sentence or acustodial measure escaped.(2) The public information media may be used for the purpose of informing the publicabout the wanted circular or the notice.(3) Where it is probable that the wanted person is abroad, the ministry of internal affairsmay also issue an international wanted circular, with the consent of the ministryresponsible for the judiciary.(4) Upon a request by a foreign authority, the ministry of internal affairs may issue awanted circular for a person suspected of being in the Republic of Serbia, if the requestcontains a statement that extradition would be sought if such person is found.Chapter XXXVITRANSITIONAL AND CONCLUDING PROVISIONSArticle 570If due to an insufficient number of judges in a court which adjudicates only in the firstinstance the chamber provided by Article 24 paragraph 6 cannot be formed, the taskswhich are within the competences of that chamber shall be conducted by the chamber ofthe immediately higher court.Article 571Where a time limit was in effect on the effective date of this Code, the time limit shall becounted according to the provisions of this Code, except if under the earlier regulationsthe limit was longer.Article 572(1) For criminal offences for which the perpetrator is prosecuted on a motion of theaggrieved the time limit referred to in Article 53 paragraph 1 of this Code shall begin torun from the effective date of the Criminal Code under which certain criminal offencesare prosecuted on requests of aggrieved persons.(2) Criminal proceedings for criminal offences which were before the effective date of theCode referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article prosecuted ex officio or by private
prosecution, and after the effective date of that Code on a motion by the aggrieved, shallbe conducted pursuant to the regulations in force before the effective date of that Code,if the proceedings had been instituted by that date.(3) If in the case referred to in preceding paragraph a judgement is overturned inextraordinary legal remedy proceedings, further proceedings shall be conducted byprivate prosecution or a motion by the aggrieved.Article 573(1) The right to reopening criminal proceedings completed by a final decision before 1 stJanuary 1954 shall be regulated by a separate law. Until that date Article 6 of theIntroductory Law for the Criminal Procedure Code (Official Gazette of the FNRY, No.40/53) shall remain effective.(2) In respect of the indemnification of persons who were wrongfully convicted orunlawfully deprived of liberty, the provision of Article 7 of the Introductory Law for theCriminal Procedure Code (Official Gazette of the FNRY, No. 40/53) shall be applied afterthe effective date of this Code, except where provided for otherwise by the federal lawreferred to in paragraph 1 of this Article.Article 574(1) If a decision against which an extraordinary legal remedy could be sought pursuantto the law then in force has been issued by the effective date of this Code, and thedecision has not yet been delivered, or the time limit for submitting an extraordinary legalremedy is still running, or if no decision has yet been taken on an extraordinary legalremedy which has been sought, the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code (OfficialGazette of the SFRY, Nos. 4/77, 14/85, 74/87, 57/89 and 3/90 and Official Gazette of theFRY, Nos. 27/92 and 24/94) shall be applied in respect of the right to a legal remedy andthe legal remedies procedure.(2) If by the effective date of this Code the republican supreme courts still have pendinglegal remedies cases for whose adjudication the jurisdiction lies with the Federal Court,the cases shall be referred to the Federal Court.Article 575The secondary legislation prescribed by this Code shall be issued by the competentauthorities within six months of the effective date of this Code.Article 576By the entry into force of the present Code, the Criminal Procedure Code (OfficialGazette of the SFRY, Nos. 4/77, 14/85, 74/87, 57/89 and 3/90, and Official Gazette ofthe FRY, Nos. 27/92 and 24/94) shall be revoked.Article 577
