Article 289The president of the trial chamber may order continuance of the trial for importantreasons, on a motion by the parties, or ex officio.Article 290(1) If the prosecutor abandons the indictment before the commencement of the trial, thepresident of the trial chamber shall notify thereof all persons summoned to the trial.
