The Board of Education is requested to adopt the following resolution:RESOLUTION of the <strong>Commack</strong> <strong>Union</strong> <strong>Free</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>District</strong>, Suffolk County, NewYork, adopted March 14, 2013, declaring the findings of the school district withrespect to the proposals for the refunding of certain bonds of said school district.The Board of Education of the <strong>Commack</strong> <strong>Union</strong> <strong>Free</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>District</strong>, in the County ofSuffolk, New York, hereby resolves (by a majority vote of all the members of said Board) asfollows:Section 1. The <strong>District</strong> received two (2) proposals for the refunding of the <strong>District</strong>’s$36,010,000 <strong>School</strong> <strong>District</strong> Serial Bonds- 2004 and based upon the advice received fromthe <strong>District</strong>'s Financial Advisor, Munistat Services, Inc., it is hereby determined that theproposal of Jefferies & Company, Inc. is hereby accepted and such firm is appointed toserve as underwriter.Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately.B. The administration recommends that the Board of Education acknowledge receipt ofdisclosures from Jefferies & Company, Inc., the underwriter for the refunding of the<strong>District</strong>’s $36,010,000 <strong>School</strong> <strong>District</strong> Serial Bonds – 2004 and authorize the President of theBoard to sign same.XI.Board BusinessA.
