6. PLACEMENT/ ASSIGNMENTS:During the Training-cum-Probation period and/or after absorption, thecandidates may be posted at any of the installations/ projects/ offices, etc. ofGAIL (India) Limited or any of the subsidiaries/ Joint Ventures of GAIL (India)Limited or deputed to any Department of Govt. of India/ other PSUs, etc. Theselected candidates may be assigned jobs/functions/assignments as per thebusiness requirements of the company including shift operations.7. SERVICE AGREEMENT BOND:The Selected candidates belonging to General category will be required toexecute a service agreement bond of Rs.1,00,000/- to successfully complete theprescribed training cum probation period and thereafter, serve the company forat least 3 years. Further, the selected candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWDcategory will also be required to execute a service agreement bond ofRs.25,000/- to successfully complete the prescribed training cum probationperiod and thereafter, serve the company for at least 3 years.8. HEALTH/MEDICAL FITNESS:Appointment to the post of Executive Trainee will be subject to the candidatebeing medically fit as per the Standards prescribed for the post by the Company.Every candidate appointed to the post of Executive Trainee in the Company shallbe required to obtain medical report in the prescribed proforma from theCentral/State Government Hospitals or GAIL’s authorized hospitals or from a CivilSurgeon before being considered for appointment to the Services of theCompany. The opinion of the Medical Officer authorized by the Company in thisregard shall be final.9. SELECTION PROCESS AND HOW TO APPLY:9.1 GAIL will be utilizing Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering – 2013 scores(GATE-2013 – Scores) for recruitment of Executive Trainees in the abovedisciplines during the year 2013.9.2 Eligible candidates who wish to apply for the position of Executive Trainee inthe above disciplines in GAIL will be required to first apply for appearing inGATE-2013 and thereafter, appear in GATE-2013 as per instructions andtimelines notified by GATE-2013 Organizing Institute in one of the followingrelevant GATE Examination Papers:Sl. It may be noted that application without validGATE-2013 registration number will be rejected.9.5 Please ensure that the GATE-2013 Registration number which is mentionedon your GATE-2013 admit card is entered correctly in the online application.Name should be filled up as appearing in your GATE-2013 Admit card.
