Other provisions mainly consist of warranty provisions of TEUR 262 (prior year: TEUR 204).
The warranty provisions were recorded for warranty obligations for products sold in the past two years. The
provision is measured on the basis of past experience of repairs and returns. It is expected that the majority
of these costs will be incurred in the next business year, and all will be incurred within two years from the
balance sheet date. The assumptions underlying the calculations of the warranty provision are based on the
current sales level and information currently available on goods returned within the two-year warranty period.
No further payments are made.
Reversal of provisions
2009/2010
In the business year payments of “Bundesagentur für Arbeit” according to the law of part-time work for older
employees have decreased personnel expenses by TEUR 43 (prior year: 118).
The aim of these payments is to balance higher expenses due to reoccupation of workplaces arising by reason
of the regulation of part-time work for older employees.
