The morecomplicated or contortedthe air flow passages in aventilator, the less air willflow through it.Part F ensures that roomshave adequate ventilationand therefore it hasbecome necessary for ventmanufacturers to measurethe air flow performance oftheir ventilators. The moreair allowed to pass throughthe ventilator when open,the better the performance.The less air able to passthrough the ventilator whenclosed, the better theperformance.
