You areentitled to apply for a NUS extra discountcard which enables you to get discountslocally and nationally and it’s also an ISICcard for international students.PARENTS & CARERSWe distribute a helpful Parent Handbookand invite parents of new students to anevening event early on in the Autumn term.We work with parents/carers and studentstogether and will make contact regularlyand invite them to parents’/ progressevenings during the year.If this approach is of particular concernto you, you would need to talk to yourpersonal tutor.SAFETYLeeds City College has a safeguardingpolicy to ensure that all young peopleand vulnerable adults attending Collegeoperate in a safe and secure environment.The policy describes what we do to protectyoung people and vulnerable adults, andwhat procedures we have in place to dealwith any issues that may arise.The policy and procedures are publishedon the College website.
