16-19 Study ProgrammesFrom 2013, all full-time 16-19 students will berequired to study English and Maths if theyhave not achieved a GCSE Grade C or abovein these subjects. Students will also have theopportunity to participate in work experience,tutorials, coaching/mentoring and othertaught courses to improve employability skills.Campaigns and Events<strong>Leeds</strong> <strong>City</strong> <strong>College</strong> has a pro-active StudentInvolvement Strategy led by students, andsupported by <strong>College</strong> staff. The Students’Union and Student Well-being Teamsupport numerous campaigns, events,volunteering programmes and fundraisingopportunities for students to take part in.ADDITIONAL SUPPORTAt <strong>Leeds</strong> <strong>City</strong> <strong>College</strong> we make reasonableadjustments to ensure everyone is treatedfairly and gets the most out of college life.Learning Support can include one-toonesessions, small group work, adaptedmaterials (for example large print ortaped notes), communication supportworkers, learning support workers, assistivetechnology (such as large keyboards) andassistance with mobility.We invite you to let us know about anysupport you might need with any learningdifficulty or disability that you have.
