Insulgrip Pin and Sleevewiring devices offer two styles of grounding.Style IReceptacles achievegrounding by attachingthe ground conductor tothe ground screw insidethe back box and utilizingthe metallic receptacleshell as a ground source(see 3P 4W Style Iillustration). Plugs andconnectors establishgrounding by means ofconnecting the flexiblecable ground conductorto a ground terminalwithin each device,which, in turn, isgrounded throughthe metallic plug orconnector shroud.Any exposed metalliccomponents are suitablygrounded in the Style Ioffering.Style IIThe Style II ground pathoffers two means ofachieving the properground path. In additionto utilizing the samegrounding method as inthe Style I product, theStyle II versionincorporates a separateground pin and sleeve(see 3P 4W Style IIillustration).
