The switch cannot be turned ONunless the enclosure cover is closed. The fuses cannot be accessed until the switch is turned OFF. The fuse holder accepts Class “J”fuses. This enclosure is non-metallic and is listed for Outdoor/Indoor (Type 4X Wash down, Corrosion resistant). The handle can belocked in the OFF position to comply with OSHA Lockout/Tagout regulations.Three molded-in conduit drill points arelocated on the top, bottom, and backsurface of enclosure. Conduit hub provided:30A 1 inch N.P.T., 60A 1¼ inch N.P.T.Stainless steelhardwarefor corrosionresistance.Safety interlockedfuse access door.Non-metallic enclosuremeets UL 50 Type 4X(watertight) 12K (dusttight)and IP66 suitabilityrequirements. Enclosureis molded of ruggedValox ® to resist abuse,corrosion and enhancesafety. All external hardwareis stainless steel.Conduit hub and adjustablemounting feet are suppliedwith each Circuit-Lock ®Fused Disconnect Switch.Removable doorfor ease of wiringand installation.Stainless steel ¼ inchturn door fasteners forquick, easy accessto fuses.FDS30Enclosure door canbe locked to preventunauthorized access.Additionally, if the switchis ON, the door cannot beopened.Valox ® is a trademark of SABIC Innovative Plastics, acquired from General Electric Company.Adjustable mountingfeet (4) can bemounted in any ofthree positions forease of installation.Fused disconnectswitches acceptClass "J" fuses.Lockable highvisibility red handleto meet OSHALockout/Tagout.Compact Fused DisconnectSwitch accepts Class “J” fuses.Fuse holders are top mounted foreasy access.
