Derry, Michener, Booth & Wahl Consultants Ltd. Page 5117.7 Bulk DensityPediment contracted a local engineering company, Oestec de Mexico, to carry out bulk density(specific gravity) measurements on intervals of diamond drill core or half-core. Pedimentprovided DMBW with Excel spreadsheets of the density measurements for each of the LosPlanes and Colinas Zones. A total of 72 density measurements were carried out on samples ofmineralized core from within the modelled zones/domains.The following density values were used for resource estimation for both Planes and Colinas:Table 17.1Average Density determinations for San Antonio mineralizationZone Type Density (SG) Number of MeasurementsSulphide Mineralization 2.7 35Oxide Mineralization 2.6 3717.8 Block ModelsSeparate block models were defined to cover the mineralization at Planes and Colinas. Theblocks model limits are defined by the parameters in the following tables:Table 17.2Los Planes Deposit Block Model ParametersPLANESMODELModel Origin 1 Number of Blocks Block Size (m)Easting 598200 160 columns 5Northing 2638800 300 rows 5Elevation 300 (m) 100 levels 5Table 17.3Las Colinas Deposit Block Model Parameters1COLINASMODELModel Origin 1 Number of Blocks Block Size (m)Easting 598000 150 columns 5Northing 2638100 175 rows 5Elevation 300 (m) 100 levels 5The convention used in Gemcom, and duplicated here, is to define the block model origin by specifyingthe Minimum X and Y coordinates and the Maximum Z coordinates of the outside corner of the blockwhich sits at the origin. There was no rotation of either of the block models, all blocks are oriented east-west and arevertical.
