Transfer Student OrientationNew transfer students have two options for fulfilling the orientationrequirement. Students have the option of a one-day, on-campusorientation program, or attending a half-day, on-campus orientationprogram with advanced participation in online orientation. Atorientation, students meet with representatives from their collegeand register for classes, have the opportunity to explore campus,and can attend afternoon sessions about University resources andservices.The online orientation program, administered through Moodle,consists of content regarding University resources, services, andpolicies, as well as separate content provided by the student’s collegeof enrollment. Completion of online orientation allows students toshorten their on-campus orientation day and takes the place of theafternoon sessions.All confirmed transfer students pay an $80 confirmation fee.16
