7Please pack the correct gear in the appropriate bag and place them in the transition area according to theinstructions below. Be sure all of your gear is clearly marked with your name and race number and do thiswith the stickers provided in your package.• The blue running gear bag should be brought with you to T1 on Saturday, September 21st during thebike check in.• The gray bag is for putting the swimming gear after the swim: you will place the swim gear bag in yourappropriate rack spot in the transition area following the completion of your swim. You may place swimgoggles, cap, towel and all items in the gray bag in order to retrieve your gear after the race. If you choosenot to place the items in the bag you will not receive your bag at T2 following the completion of your race.• The clear race morning clothes bag that had to be requested on the 22nd of September from 5:30 to6:30 a.m. at the buses located inside T1, will be taken to T2 by the organization committee.MANDATORYPRE-RACE MEETINGThe organization committee and the Mexicanrace; this will be your chance to answer questionsyou may have, so please assist to one of themeetings. See below for meeting times.The meetings will take place at the Cozumel &Resort hotel (1km away from the Punta LangostaShopping Center (package pick- up venue) :Friday, September 20th.SPANISH SPOKEN: 5:00 -6:00 pmSaturday, September 21th.ENGLISH SPOKEN: 10:00 – 11:00 amSaturday, September 21th.SPANISH SPOKEN: 11:30 am – 12:30 pmWELCOME DINNEREach athlete will receive a complimentary entry to theWelcome Dinner on Friday, September 20th from6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Playa Mia.Please do not remove the wristband prior to thedinner or you will be denied entry.Dinner tickets for the general public will be availablefor purchase at the dinner entrance (a VERYLIMITED number of tickets will be sold).Price $15 USDThere will be free direct transportation from PuntaLangosta Plaza to Playa Mia, From 5:30pm to 8:15pmSWIM PRACTICEPrior to race day, acclimatize yourself to the waterconditions by participating in the practice swim onSaturday morning (7:00 – 9:00 a.m.). Whileswimming during the scheduled practice swims,always follow the instructions of water safetypersonnel and wear a brightly colored swim cap.Do not swim out beyond the buoys and never swimalone!There will not be free transportation from host hotelsto the practice swim.
