25QUALIFYING FOR THE2014 IRONMAN 70.3WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPSunday September 22nd, 6:00pm to 7:00pmat Playa Mia1) Fifty (50) qualifying slots for the 2014 Ironman 70.3World Championship will be awarded. Please reviewthe table at the event site for the projected slotallocation by category. Final slot allocation will bedetermined on race day based on the number ofofficial starters.2) Look at the preliminary results after the race to knowif you have qualified to compete at the 2014 Ironman70.3 World Championship at Mont-Tremblant, Quebec,Canada , if so, you must assist the SLOT ALLOCATIONmeeting.You must claim your slot in-person. At the awardsceremony entrance at Playa Mia. Please be preparedpay the $400 CAD or $5200 Mexican pesos entryfee with CASH ONLY. Sorry we will not accept creditor debit cards, personal or traveler checks or any othercurrency. Any unclaimed slots will be rolled down tothe next eligible present finishers.ROLLDOWN PROCEDURE:Sunday, September 22nd, 7pm at Playa MiaREGISTRATION FORTHE 2014 IRONMAN70.3 COZUMELOnline registration for next year’s Ironman 70.3Cozumel (September 21st, 2014) will be available onwww.ironmanmexico.com starting at 12:00 p.m.central time on Monday, September 23rd, 2013.There will be no onsite registration.LOST & FOUNDWe highly recommend that you mark your gear withyour bib number, as Metlife Ironman 70.3 Cozumel isnot responsible for any lost items.1. The athlete must be present at the roll down whichwill be held right after the slot allocation to accept theslot. If the athlete is not present to accept the slot, theslot will be forfeited to another athlete.2. A slot will “roll down” to the next person (samegender) in a designated age group if the athlete originallyearning the slot is not present or has declined the slot.3. Slots must be rolled down within the same age groupand gender.4. Should any slot(s) “roll down” through an entire agegroup without being claimed, the slot (s) will be assignedto the age group within that gender having the largestnumber of athletes.5. If an athlete wins a slot, that slot must be used in theyear it is assigned.6 If an athlete wins a slot, they must pay all worldchampionship entry fees at the qualifying event.7. The race organization reserves the right to recall anyslots that may have been awarded in error.
