10RACE DAY PARKINGThe Chankanaab parking lot will be used astransition area 1 so there will not be any parkingspace availableinside the park. Parking on the road is strictlyprohibited, so please use the host hotel´stransportation or a taxi to get there.The only way for spectators to get to the Finish lineat City Hall and where transition area 2 is, will be totake the free event transportation departing from8:40 a.m. from Chankanaab or to take a taxi.RACE MORNINGCLOTHES BAGPrior to the swimming start on race morning, place any items(e.g., dry clothes, hotel room key, meds) you may need afteryou finish, in your race morning clothes bag. The racemorning clothes bag drop buses will be clearly marked andwill be located inside the transition area. Please do not placeany valuables in your race morning clothes bag. During therace your race morning clothes bag will be transported to thetransition 2 area next to the Cozumel City Hall for you tocollect after the race.RACE MORNINGCHECK-IN PROCEDUREThe transition area will open at 5:30 a.m. on raceday. Plan to arrive early. Be sure to take intoaccount the 15-minute walk from the transition areato the swimming start area.If you need to be marked with your number again,this will begin at 5:30 a.m. at the transition 1entrance. You will not be permitted into theswimming start area on race day without yourwristband, swim cap, timing chip and your bodymarked with your number. If you have misplacedany of these items, please go to the support tentinside the transition area for a replacement. Do notapply sunscreen, oil, Vaseline or lotion until afteryour body has been marked.
