W. <strong>Quinn</strong>’s narrative except a description of the home farm, buildings, etc. It is sufficientto say that the dwelling was a two story frame <strong>and</strong> timbered house about 60 ft. by 28; that it stood back fromthe road about 300 yards on the edge of about 40 acres of woodl<strong>and</strong>. <strong>The</strong> house is still st<strong>and</strong>ing, although built in1811 <strong>and</strong> is occupied as the farm house. <strong>The</strong>re is however but little woodl<strong>and</strong> left on the farm, all the goodtimber—sugar, ash. <strong>and</strong> oak, as well as the beech, having been cut down <strong>and</strong> sold.10
