Det. Kampwirth and Detectives Raitano, Faso, Stopka and McEwen assisted the FBI on arrest warrant.04/18/13 – Investigations personnel reassigned to patrol for the floods.04/24/13 – Det. Dorner conducted Quarterly Sex Offender Registration with a local sex <strong>of</strong>fender.— Theft <strong>of</strong> Vehicle/Unlawful Use <strong>of</strong> Credit Card investigation. Offender identified but still not located. Investigation isongoing.Social Worker30 issues including domestic problems, mental health issues, elder issues, substance abuse problems,neighbor disputes, housing/shelter inquiries, and suicidal issues.9


<strong>Park</strong> <strong>Ridge</strong> <strong>Police</strong> <strong>Department</strong>April 2013Letters <strong>of</strong> RecognitionOfficer Ken King was recognized for writing themost DUI tickets in 2012.Officer Tom Rechlicz was recognized for hiswork with overweight truck enforcement, surpassing$30,000 in fines in just the past fewmonths.Officer Robert Evans was recognized as the“Most Improved” <strong>of</strong>ficer in the 2012 <strong>Park</strong> <strong>Ridge</strong><strong>Police</strong> <strong>Department</strong> Fitness Challenge for thesecond year in a row.April EventsOfficer Julie Genualdi and Teri Collins <strong>of</strong> MCYAFcollected 200 lbs. <strong>of</strong> prescription drugs at the DEADrug Take Back Initiative on April 27.Officers Laura Kappler and Julie Genualdi representedthe <strong>Park</strong> <strong>Ridge</strong> <strong>Police</strong> <strong>Department</strong> at the Senior Expo atGolf Mill on April 19.10
