Anderson arrested a subject for Domestic Battery.04/08/13 – Officer Waddell arrested a juvenile for Battery.04/08/13 – Officer Luehr arrested a juvenile for Disorderly Conduct.04/10/13 – Officer Luehr arrested juvenile for Harassment through Electronic Means. Det. Stopka assisted.04/10/13 – Officer Luehr arrested a juvenile for Assault and Resisting.04/11/13 – Officer Waddell arrested a juvenile for Possession of Cannabis.04/14/13 – Burglary to Motor Vehicle arrest – Patrol made the arrest, and Det. Faso investigated, interviewed, andcharged a subject and a juvenile for BTMV and Possession of Stolen Property. Sgt. Kampwirth and Det. Stopka supervised Peer Jury, 4 new cases, 3 returns.04/15/13 – Det. Dorner conducted Sex Offender Unscheduled Visits.04/16/13 – Sgt. Kampwirth and Detectives Raitano, Faso, Stopka and McEwen assisted the FBI on arrest warrant.04/18/13 – Investigations personnel reassigned to patrol for the floods.04/24/13 – Det. Dorner conducted Quarterly Sex Offender Registration with a local sex offender.— Theft of Vehicle/Unlawful Use of Credit Card investigation. Offender identified but still not located. Investigation isongoing.Social Worker30 issues including domestic problems, mental health issues, elder issues, substance abuse problems,neighbor disputes, housing/shelter inquiries, and suicidal issues.9

Park Ridge Police DepartmentApril 2013Letters of RecognitionOfficer Ken King was recognized for writing themost DUI tickets in 2012.Officer Tom Rechlicz was recognized for hiswork with overweight truck enforcement, surpassing$30,000 in fines in just the past fewmonths.Officer Robert Evans was recognized as the“Most Improved” officer in the 2012 Park RidgePolice Department Fitness Challenge for thesecond year in a row.April EventsOfficer Julie Genualdi and Teri Collins of MCYAFcollected 200 lbs. of prescription drugs at the DEADrug Take Back Initiative on April 27.Officers Laura Kappler and Julie Genualdi representedthe Park Ridge Police Department at the Senior Expo atGolf Mill on April 19.10
