Brother Lindsay is a member of the FirstUnited Presbyterian Church of Allegheny, of whose board of trusteeshe has been a member for the past seven years.Brother Lindsay's fraternity record is such that it can confidentlyROBERT WHITE LINDSAY, Washington and Jefferson, '02.be predicted that the office of alumni commissioner will be wellfilled the ensuing two years.BENJAMIN MARSHALL DAVIS<strong>Phi</strong> <strong>Delta</strong> <strong>Theta</strong> is peculiarly fortunate in the services of BrotherDavis as fraternity librarian, to which position he was first appointedby the general council in 1911, and elected by the national conventionin 1912. Brother Davis has for years been connected with educationalinstitutions and knows colleges and fraternities to an unusualdegree. He was born at <strong>No</strong>rth Salem, Indiana, in 1867, andreceived his collegiate degree Bachelor of Science from Butler College,in 1890. He was initiated into the Indiana Gamma chapter of<strong>Phi</strong> <strong>Delta</strong> <strong>Theta</strong> in 1886 and in 1892 he received the degree of Masterof Science in course from his Alma Mater, and in 1906 the degreeof Doctor of <strong>Phi</strong>losophy from the University of California. DoctorDavis taught chemistry in Butler for two years after his graduation.
