SR8-Plus Operation Manual73-100-810-I1 Safety Considerations1.1 General1. The installation category (overvoltage category) for this instrument is Level II. The LevelII category pertains to equipment that receives its electrical power from a local level,such as an electrical wall outlet.2. This instrument must be connected to a grounded electrical outlet.3. Never work on the electrical components in the system while there is power to the unit.Disconnect power before servicing the instrument.4. Review all safety and environmental precautions pertaining to any chemicals that are tobe used in conjunction with this equipment.1.2 Safety MarkingsFor your own safety, you must observe the following safety warning markings. The safetywarning markings indicate a possible source of danger. At the same time they containinformation on how correct action can avert danger.
