SR8-Plus Operation Manual73-100-810-I8.14 Maintenance LogThe Maintenance Log is used to know the last time the Heater, Temperature Probes or Motorwere calibrated. As well, the Maintenance Log will tell the user or service person the amountof run time associated with the Belts, Motor, and Heater. The Maintenance Log is forreference information only; the log should only be cleared or changed by a service technicianafter service has been conducted or one of these components has been replaced.1. With the Main screen displayed, press [PREFERENCES] to display the SystemOptions screen.2. Press [3] to select "Validation".3. Press [3] to display the “Maintenance Log” screen.The Maintenance Log may be printed.Only belt, motor, and heater time may be reset.8.15 Tablet CalibrationTablet calibration of the SR8-Plus is accomplished by following the guidelines listed in theUSP-NF under Dissolution. This test should be performed after the installation is complete.It is normal to do tablet calibration every 6 months. SR8-Plus Operation Manual73-100-810-I9 Moving and Storage9.1 StorageIf the SR8-Plus Dissolution Test Station will not be used for an extended period of time (3months or more) the power should be turned off and the bath water should be emptied.9.2 MovingBefore moving the SR8-Plus Dissolution Test Station, it is necessary to empty the water fromthe waterbath. If the SR8-Plus is being relocated within the same laboratory or building, thesystem can be moved without any additional packing procedures. If the system is beingtransported to another location, the locking screws and clamps (removed in Section 4 of thismanual) should be replaced. The locking screws and clamps keep the counterweights anddrive head from moving. If the packing materials that the system was shipped in were saved,the system should be repackaged to avoid damage in shipment.Section 9 Moving and Storage – 64 –
