<strong>SR8</strong>-Plus Operation <strong>Manual</strong>73-100-810-I8.1 Maintenance Schedule8 Maintenance and CalibrationThe <strong>SR8</strong>-Plus should be maintained using the following schedule:FrequencyAfter each testWeeklyMonthlyEvery 6 monthsAnnuallyEvery 2 yearsProcedureClean up system.Inspect circulating water pump.Inspect bath water.Replace bath water.Check temperature calibration.Calibrate the system.Inspect guide rods.Inspect spindle bearings.Inspect belts.Inspect idler pulleys.Replace belts.8.2 Clean Up ProcedureClean up dissolution media whenever it is spilled on the system. At the completion of eachtest, clean the system with a damp cloth. Do not allow dissolution media to sit on the system.8.3 Circulating Water PumpThe only maintenance for the Circulating Water Pump is to ensure the water in the bath isreasonably clean. Visually Inspect the Circulating Water Pump for build-up of algae or otherforeign materials. If necessary, remove circulating water pump and clean with running water.8.4 Bath WaterVisually inspect the bath water weekly for algae or other foreign material. If algae formationhas occurred, change the bath water. To change the bath water:1. Turn unit off.2. Ensure there is a drainage system (or suitable container) within 4 feet of the bath.3. Insert drain hose fitting into bath drain located underneath the bath.4. After bath has drained, remove drain hose and clean around bath drain if minor waterspillage has occurred.5. Clean bath and fill with clean water (DI or better).NOTE: Do not fill bath through the drain hose. The system may not handle the waterpressure.
