<strong>SR8</strong>-Plus Operation <strong>Manual</strong>73-100-810-ISampling AlarmThis alarm is used to alert the user when a sample is to be taken from the vessels, asdetermined by the sampling interval set in the protocol. To set the parameters for thesampling alarm:1. With the Main screen displayed, press [CLOCK] to display the SystemAlarm/Timers screen.2. Press [2] to select "Sampling Alarm". The Sampling Alarm screen is displayed.3. Press [1] to turn the alarm on or off. The alarm is both audible and is indicated by the"Timer Alert" status light on the display.4. Set the pre-notification time. This sets the amount of time that the user is alerted, beforethe sample needs to be taken. The range is 0-9:59 (Hours:Minutes)User AlarmsThe system includes three undesignated alarms that the user can set to be alerted for animportant event. Examples of user alarms include: change the bath water, add algaeecide,change the pH, or change the media. To set the user alarms:1. With the Main screen displayed, press [CLOCK] to display the SystemAlarm/Timers screen.2. Press [3] to select "User Alarms". The User Alarm screen is displayed.3. Press [1] to display the desired alarm number (three alarms are available).4. Input the date, time, recurrence and a reminder of what the alarm is. Follow each inputwith [ENTER].When the date and time are reached, the user is alerted of the alarm by an audible sound, apop-up window on the screen, and illumination of the "Timer Alert" status light on the display.RecurrenceAfter setting alarms or preheat wakeup as previously described, the user may incorporate arecurrence. Follow the instructions on the display to disable (which will only do the alarmonce), or Mon-Fri, Mon-Sat, Everyday, or with Everyday showing, the user can program thenumber of days for the recurrence to take place, (range 1-1827 days).Section 5 Operation and Programming – 36 –
