Press [ESC] and again [ESC] to get to the Password screen. Highlight yourname (or the name you just entered) and follow the instructions to input your password.[ESC] to return to the Main Menu.9. Press [STOP] and again [STOP] to log off. Press [PREFERENCES], and you are nowrequired to log on. Highlight your name (or the name you entered in Step 8 and press[ENTER]; enter your password and press [ENTER]. You have now logged on.NOTE: Enable password and set time and date (see more in this section) before changingany system settings or creating protocols; this will ensure that the revision dates forthese areas are correct.5.15 Adding, Changing or Removing Users1. When you are classified as a manager you may add managers or operators, and youmay change an operator to a manager or a manager to an operator. To log into theManager Menu from the Main Menu, press [PREFERENCES], [5] “Security”, and thenhighlight your name and enter your password and press [ENTER] and again [ENTER] toview the Manager Menu.2. At the Manager Menu select “Add A New User” to add a manager or operator.3. At the Manager Menu select “Modify/Delete A User” to remove or change someone inthe list of users.5.16 DiagnosticsIt is recommended to run diagnostics at the beginning of each day’s work or if there has beena change or a problem with the equipment. Diagnostics is explained in more detail in Section7—Troubleshooting.5.17 System Configuration ParametersWith the Main screen displayed, press[PREFERENCES] to display the SystemOptions screen.
