(see Figure 4-13)NOTE: The system is designed to operate with either one or two temperature probes. One issupplied with the system, the other is optional. Probe 1 is designed to be placed inthe bath. Probe 2 can be placed in Vessel 7 or 8 if they are not used for testing, or atthe opposite end of the bath.a) Plug the temperature probe(s) into the connector(s) labeled “TEMP PROBES” onthe left hand side of the SR8-Plus Controller. The first probe must be plugged intoconnector “1”, and the optional second probe must be plugged into connector “2”.b) For Probe 1, route the cable around the side of the bath and place the temperatureprobe into the bath, using one of the two holes indicated in Figure 13. Push thetemperature probe into the bath as far as it will go.c) For Probe 2, route the cable behind the bath and place the temperature probe intoeither Vessel 7 or 8.
