SR8-Plus Operation Manual73-100-810-IFigure 4-10: Positioning the Bath3. Plug the heater cable into the connector labeled “Heater” on the right-hand side of theSR8-Plus Controller. (see Figure 4-9)4. Position the bath so that it is touching the back of the SR8-Plus frame and is centered inthe frame from left to right.5. Route the cable from the bath level sensor under the frame on the left-hand side of thesystem.6. Plug the bath level sensor into the connector labeled “LEVEL SENSOR”, located on theleft hand side of the SR8-Plus Controller.7. Fill the bath half full (approximately 5 gallons) of water (DI or better).NOTE: Do not use copper sulfate as an algaeecide.8. Install the vessel centering rings in each of the vessel openings in the base plate. Pushrings down into each hole until it snaps in. (Use of these rings ensures that the vesselsare centered so that they meet regulatory requirements). (see Figure 4-11)9. The vessel positions are on the base plate. Insert the number of vessels normally usedin the vessel centering rings, starting with Position 1. Turn the clamp knobs over the lipof the vessel to hold each vessel in place.
