URBAN FORESTRY AUSTRALIA - TREE MANAGEMENT & CONSULTING ARBORICULTURISTS2 METHODOLOGY2.1 In preparation for this report , ground level visual inspections of the subject treeswere undertaken by the authors of this report on 15 th , 19 th and 30 th January, 2009.2.2 Tree heights and canopy spreads were estimated.Depending on access, size or other constraints, trunk diameters of trees within thesubject site were either measured at 1.4 metres above ground level (DBH), usinga diameter tape, visually estimated, or measured above the root buttress (asnoted in Appendix C – Schedule of Assessed Trees.)2.3 The trees assessed for this report are numbered from 92 to 250. The remainingninety-one (91) trees were subject to a separate audit and development impactassessment and report prepared for the proposed re-development of the AnnetteKellerman Aquatic centre. An aerial view of the site (Figure2) is on the followingpage.2.4 Field observations were written down. Photographs were taken with a 1.3mp SonyCybershot or 10.10mp Canon EOS 100D SLR digital camera.2.5 No aerial inspections or woody tissue testing were undertaken as part of this treeassessment.Information contained in this tree report covers only the trees that wereexamined and reflects the condition of the trees at the time of inspection.2.6 Care has been taken to obtain all information from reliable sources.All data has been verified as far as possible; however, I can neither guarantee norbe responsible for the accuracy of information provided by others.2.7 Plans and documents referenced for the preparation of this report include:o Details and Levels Survey, Sheets 1 & 2 of 2, Ref. No.192/05, Revision 1,dated September 2005, prepared by Craig & Rhodes;o Marrickville Council Tree Preservation Order 2007.2.8 The subject trees are shown on marked up copies of the site survey.
