Conservation Management StrategyEnmore ParkOTHER ELEMENTS20. Light polesFurther research would beneeded to identify the installationdate of the existing periodlightpoles in the park, but this maynot be warranted.Available historic photos collectedto date do not show theselightpoles; however a photographfrom the late 1930s or early 1940sseems to indicate that there weredifferent lightpoles in the park atthat time.Rating: Not knownUntil more is known about theirprovenance, it is difficult toascribe a heritage rating tothem. They have an Edwardian periodstyle which would have suitedthe Park in the early 20 thcentury, although they mayhave been brought in fromelsewhere and installed later. It is suggested they be groupedinto one precinct of the Park –e.g. near the Enmore Roadentrance, and that other, modern lighting be installed inthe remainder of the Park..21.
