Tender documents may be downloaded from BRO website www.bro.gov.in orwww.bro.nic.in on or after 19 Aug 2013 and print out is to be taken on A4 sizepaper. It is advisable that downloaded tender document is preferably printedthrough laser printer only. Submission of photo copy of tender is not permitted.Tender documents downloaded from web site shall be accompanied with cost oftender documents, shall be summarily rejected.3. The work is estimated to cost Rs. 8.22 lac (Rupees Eight lac twentytwo thousand only) approximately or as subsequently amended in tenderdocuments or uploaded in BRO website. This estimate, however, is not aguarantee and is merely given as a rough guide and if the work costs more or less,the tenderer shall have no claim on that account of what so ever nature.4. 4. The tender shall be based on specifications, General Conditions ofContracts IAFW-1815(Z) and item rate Contract form based on IAFW-1779A withschedule ‘A’ (list of works) to be priced by tenderers where tenderers are requiredto quote their rates for each items of work of schedule ‘A’ in figures and words.5. Not more than one tender shall be submitted by one contractor orcontractors having business relationship, Under no circumstances will a father orhis son(s) or other close relations who have business dealing with one another(i.ewhen one or more partner(s)/director(s) are common) be allowed to tender for thesame contract as separate competitors. A breach of this condition will render thetenders of both parties liable to rejection.6. The work is to be completed within 90 days (Ninety days) from the date ofissue of acceptance letter.7. Tender documents may also be purchased either by hand or may berequested by post by sending requisition well in advance along with cost of tenderdocuments from the office of The Commander 761 BRTF (GREF), C/O 99 APO BROshall not be responsible for any loss or postal delays. The tender Part-I containing un-priced bid will be openedimmediately after the time indicated here in before and Part-II (Priced bid) willbe opened at 12 00HRs on 06 Sep 2013.10. Intending tenderers are advised to visit BRO website three days prior todate of submission of tender for any corrigendum/addendum/amendment.Tender received after due date shall not be considered for opening and noreason for delay or claim whatsoever shall be entertained.11. Earnest money is not required to be attached with tender by the enlistedcontractor with BRO who have submitted standing security deposit but it isrequired from other contractors to be attached with tender documents forRs 16,500/- (Rupees Sixteen thousand five hundred only)in the shape ofcall deposit receipt in favour of Commander 761 BRTF, C/O 99 APOobtained from any Nationalized/Scheduled Bank and havingmaturity/validity period 30 days more than validity period of his offer.Un enlisted contractor may note that they will be required lodge securitydeposit of the work in the prescribed form on receipt in writing from theAccepting Officer if their offer is accepted.12. The tenderers are advised to visit the site by making prior appointmentwith the Commander 761 BRTF (GREF) C/O 99 APO.13. A tenderer shall be deemed to have full knowledge of all relevantdocuments, samples, site etc whether he had inspected them or not.14. Any qualification documents/tender which stipulates any alternative toany of the conditions laid down or which proposes any other conditions of anydescription whatsoever, is liable to be rejected.15. The Accepting Officer reserves his right to accept a tender submitted by aPublic Undertaking, giving a purchase preference over other tender(s) whichmay be lower, as are admissible under the Govt. policy. No claim for anycompensation or otherwise shall be admissible from such tenderer(s) whosetenders may be rejected on account of the said policy.16. Applicant contractor must send/ attach a demand draft for Rs. 500/-(Rupees Five hundred only) in favour of Accepting Officer i.e. Commander761 BRTF (GREF), C/O 99 APO and payable at SBI Yingkiong (Code No7228) obtained from any Nationalised/Scheduled Bank valid for 06 (Six)months with their application as the cost of tender forms/documents. The allapplicable Bank charges shall be borne by the applicant and he shall not haveany claim what so ever on this account on Govt. In case of re-tendering, thefirms which have submitted the DD in earlier calls will require to submit DDalong with their tender /application in subsequent call also. Tender notaccompanied with the cost of tender documents is liable to be rejected.However, Public Sector Undertaking/Govt. Undertaking firms are exemptedfrom the payment towards cost of tender documents.18. The Demand Draft attached with the application form shall be non refundable.19. The Accepting Officer does not bind himself to accept the lowest or anytender or to give any reasons for not doing so.20. Tenderer who has downloaded the tender from the BRO website shall nottemper/modify the tender form in any manner.
