Huckaby as the twelfth chancellor of the University Systemof Georgia is held in the historic Georgia State Capitol. The Board of Regents is deeplyappreciative of the hospitality offered by state officials in allowing the rare use of the Capitolfor this historic ceremony. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this completelyrefurbished building is a gleaming example of 19th-century design and 21st-centurytechnology as it continues to serve as the working center of Georgia’s government.
