The runningcarriage runs on the rail, analuminium profile which is openat the bottom and featuresintegrated rubber buffers. Oneffortless opening the door leafpushes smoothly away fromall the contact surfaces of theframe at an angel of 45° andmoves off to the side withouta sound on ball-bearingsupported rollers. At the endpositions the residual motiveenergy is absorbed by rubberbuffers. Closing, too, requiresno more than a single movementof the hand to activatea maximum of closing force.The door glides back, lowersunder its own weight andcloses without any furtherapplication of force. Theframe seal presses uniformlyand smoothly against the doorframe and the floor sealingstrip slots equally seamlessly.into the threshold area. Thedoor is now sealed.2
