Installing the Control ProgramInstallation and Commissioning4.5 How to use the disk, Manipulator ParametersThe S4C controller does not contain any calibration information at delivery (Robot NotCalibrated shown on the teach pendant).Once the Manipulator Parameter disk contents has been loaded to the controller as inone of the two cases described below, should a new parameter back-up be saved on thedisk, Controller Parameter.After saving the new parameters on the disk, Controller Parameter theManipulator Parameter disk is no longer needed.4.6 Robot delivered with software installedIn this case the basic parameters are already installed.Load the calibration offset values from the disk, Manipulator Parameters.1. Select File: Add or Replace Parameter.Do not select Add new or Load Saved Parameters.2. Press OK.3. Save the new parameters according to section 4.8.4.7 Robot delivered without software installedIn this case a complete cold start is necessary, remember to connect the back-up batteries.The basic parameters are loaded at the cold start. The delivery specific I/O configurationis loaded from the disk, Controller Parameters.1. Select File:Add New Parameters.2. Press OK.3. Load the calibration offset values from the disk, Manipulator Parameters.4. Select File:Add or Replace Parameter.Do not select Add new or Load Saved Parameters.5. Press OK.6.
