It is easy to set the size of the grid from the Gridproperty page. You may also define column <strong>and</strong> row header texts.The user-input on a grid can be protected, so that only qualified users are allowed tochange data in the robot.IconThe icon control is used for drawing a picture on any of the views. The picture files aretypically bitmap files (.bmp) or icon (.ico) files that you for example have preparedwith the Windows Paint application, or have exported from some other drawingprogram. The icon can be linked to a variable or digital I/O in the robot <strong>and</strong> made tochange picture or become invisible dependent on the value of the robot variable.Hot-SpotSelect the Hot-spot control to draw a hot-spot in any of the views. It is usually placedon top of other controls (e.g. Icon), to make RobView change view when you click onthe hot-spot. The hot-spot is invisible in run mode.Peripheral equipmentThe user defined controls can also be linked to signals in peripheral equipment. Thiscan be done in two ways: 1) By using spare I/O in the robot where signals from theperipheral equipment are connected so that RobView can reach them or 2) by using adedicated DDE Server if one is available for the equipment in question, so thatRobView can connect to the variables of that DDE Server <strong>and</strong> in this way be able tocontrol <strong>and</strong> monitor the external equipment.Multiple robotsRobView can be supplied with support for one or multiple robots.
